Recreation Dallas is seeking an Account Service Intern to join our intern class of 2024. Recreation is an award-winning, growing, digital-first creative ad agency of 13 people sandwiched between Deep Ellum and Exposition Park in Dallas, Texas. We call our work Performance Creative because every piece of work from our shop is expected to provide a return on investment. Recreation’s motto: Play to Win. We work to live, and since Recreation is work as play, and at Rec, we strive to have fun while we work. For our clients, winning is our goal. That means tossing out your ego and bringing your A-game. We strive to meet and exceed any client’s needs by doing work that works (those clients range from national to regional, involving things like pizza, ice cream, puppies, diamonds, wine, basketball, and airplanes). You are a rockstar at school wanting to gain industry experience. You are a self-motivated professional who is responsible for supporting the agency and the accounts you are assigned. Your main focus is to be a sponge and absorb all the experiences you can. Your secondary focus is to help us serve our clients better with duties ranging from brainstorming, conference reports, organization, meeting agendas, brand & competitive research, and quality-checking client assignments. You are interested in traditional advertising (print, OOH, TV, radio). Still, your passion lies in pushing the boundaries of the digital realm – managing and creating innovative campaigns that are on brand, on target, on the proper channels, and that move the needle. You need to be able to handle multiple tasks and enjoy the challenge of something new and different every single day. You are an excellent communicator and will raise red flags when needed on projects, both internally and externally. You will fully understand the brands you work on and their competitors – becoming a partner to our clients.
