Recreation Dallas is seeking an Art Director to join our growing team.


We are a growing, digital-first ad agency of 13 people located next to the Dallas Farmers Market (but currently located in 13 home offices around the Metroplex). We strive to meet and exceed any client’s need by doing work that works. And those clients range from national to local, involving things like pizza, ice cream, puppies, diamonds, wine, basketball, and airplanes.


You are a rockstar in the workplace with 3+ years of industry experience. You have a stellar portfolio that showcases an eye for art direction and a mind for cross-channel thinking. You are well-versed in traditional advertising (print, OOH, TV, radio) but your passion lies in pushing the boundaries of the digital realm – creating innovative campaigns that are on brand, on target, on the right channels, and that move the needle. You are adept at handling multiple projects on multiple accounts, and enjoy the challenge of something new and different every single day. You are an excellent communicator and will raise red flags when needed on projects both internally and externally. You will fully understand the brands you work on and their competitors – becoming a partner to our clients.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in graphic design or related field
  • Exceptional design and conceptual skills

  • Solid animation and video editing skills
  • Thorough print production knowledge 
  • Studio photography knowledge a plus
