Recreation Dallas is hiring a Senior Art Director.

We’re a full-service ad agency that sees work as play and has fun while we do it. We’re looking for a talented Senior Art Director who’s comfortable leading and is passionate about their work. This is not a remote position.

You’re a motivated, enthusiastic, and detail-oriented Senior Art Director who can balance handling your own workload while mentoring your team members. Our agency thrives on a culture of teamwork, transparency, and hunger, and we need a leader who can embody those values.

• Eager to develop and execute creative solutions that grow our clients’ business.
• Fluent in social content, but also excited to create highly effective campaigns across all channels and points of engagement, such as digital, print, web, promotional, B2B, B2C, etc.
• Armed with inspirational ideas and a knack for guiding projects to greatness. 
• Experienced in collaborating with writers and internal teams.
• Able to manage your own time and meet deadlines with high-quality work.
• A strong communicator who can clearly share your thoughts both within the agency and with clients, vendors, and partner agencies.
• Flexible in a constantly changing industry that calls for an ability to react quickly and change gears on the fly.
• Curious, constantly proactively learning about your client’s business and industry trends.
• Comfortable working in a startup environment (e.g. fast-paced, tech-forward, independent).

• Create (and assist others in creating) social, digital, and traditional brand work.
• Art direct photo shoots and video shoots, both externally and in-house.
• Mentor junior Art Directors and Designers
• Collaborate and share ideas and best practices with peers across the organization.
